Variety is the spice of life, but we also know that co-ordination is key for spectacular papercrafts. With issue 105 you receive a beautifully intricate border die, plus a corner, sentiment, three motif and four border stamps – use them together for limitless crafting possibilities! Colette Smith spent an afternoon testing out a few combinations and made some really fabulous projects – check them out on pages 17-21 of the magazine, but these tools are so versatile that we couldn’t fit all the makes in there! PaperCrafter 105 is on sale now, so pick up your copy and start making today!
Hanging Decoration
1 Paint the sides and back of the Paper Mache heart white, allow to dry and cover the front with pale pink card.
2 Stamp thirteen hearts in black ink and colour with shades of pink. Cut out and stick to the front of the heart.
3 Add a pink ribbon bow to the base of the hanger and decorate each heart with a gem.
Trio of Hearts
1 Mat a slightly smaller piece of pink textured card onto an A6 blank.
2 Stamp out three hearts in black, colour in shades of pink and cut out.
3 Mat the hearts vertically onto textured card 3cm x 8.5cm, then stick onto white card and trim leaving a narrow border.
4 Attach to the centre of the blank with foam tape and add a gem to each heart.
Floral Frame
1 Die cut two scallop-edged squares from yellow card, then use a smaller square die to remove an aperture from the centre of one and punch small holes around it.
2 Layer a photo between the scallop-edged shapes and glue to secure. Add another square of card on the reverse to reinforce, then fold a small piece of card and glue to the back to make a stand.
3 Add a pearl in each of the punched holes. Stamp four flowers and colour with a pale yellow ProMarker. Cut out, then stick one in a top corner and layer three opposite. Finish with a gem in the centre of each.
