Rustic Christmas Stars

YOU WILL NEED:
Dies: tree, scalloped nesting circles
Punch, hole
Cardstock and patterned papers, various
Twine
Adhesives: glue, 3D foam pads

METHOD:
1. Die cut five tree designs of the same size. Arrange them to make a five-pointed star shape. Glue the corners lightly together before carefully turning over and glueing the reverse.

2. Stick the star to a large sheet of coloured card or patterned paper. Trim to leave a 3mm border all round. Cut two scalloped discs (one larger than the other) from coordinating paper and place in the centre of the star with 3D foam pads to cover the flat edges.

3. Punch a hole in the top and thread with twine for hanging. Add extra decoration with the offcuts from the tree design and flat-backed gems if desired.
