Sweet Birthday
Using a blending tool, apply Worn Lipstick distress ink through a retro spot stencil onto white card, 10cm square. Stamp a sentiment in the top-right corner using black ink. Adhere the panel to a slightly larger piece of black cardstock using double-sided tape. Cut down a card blank that is slightly larger than the black piece, then adhere the whole panel in the centre. Print the digi stamps onto white cardstock, then colour the images with alcohol markers. Cut the images out, leaving a narrow white border. Adhere the bottle, adding the ice cream sundae with 3D foam pads. Apply some white dots to the strawberry with a white gel pen.
Dancing Queen
Take a panel of white cardstock, 12cm x 16.5cm, and run it through a die-cutting machine with a bubbles embossing folder. Using a blending tool and Antique Linen distress ink, add some colour around the edges. Layer this panel onto slightly larger black cardstock with double-sided tape. Add the whole piece in the centre of a slightly larger blank. Print off the digital images onto white cardstock and colour in with alcohol markers. Cut out the lady and the musical notes with some scissors, leaving a white outline around the edges. Trim the checkered border to fit the width of the inner panel. Stick the border and musical notes flat to the card front, then add the lady with 3D foam pads. Stamp ‘Happy’ directly onto the cardin black ink, then stamp ‘Birthday’ on a small rectangle of white cardstock, cutting it into a diagonal at one end. Add below the ‘Happy’ using 3D foam pads.
Cool Birthday
Run white cardstock, 9.5cm x 14cm, through a die-cutting machine with a lattice embossing folder. Using a blending tool and Black Soot distress ink, colour the whole panel. Layer onto slightly larger black cardstock, then onto a slightly larger blank. Stamp a sentiment onto white cardstock using black and red inks, cutting it down to size. Add to the top-right corner of the card front with 3D foam pads. Print off the images onto white cardstock, colour with alcohol markers and cut out with some scissors, leaving a small white border around the image on the glasses, record and musical notes. Add all the images to the greeting.
Congratulations
Cut a panel of white cardstock to 12cm square and blend Antique Linen distress ink around the edges with a blending tool. Spritz the ink with some water and dab off the excess with a clean paper towel. Once dry, add in the centre of slightly larger black cardstock with some double-sided tape. Cut down a card blank so it is slightly larger than the black panel and add that whole piece into the centre. Size down the image and print onto cardstock, then colour the images. Matt the image onto a slightly larger piece of black cardstock, then add the panel in the centre of the card front at an angle with 3D foam pads. Stamp a sentiment onto white cardstock in black, cut down to size and add to the bottom of the image, slightly tucking it underneath.
Birthday Diner
Take a panel of white cardstock, 11cm x 14cm, and run it through a die-cutting machine with a retro patterned embossing folder. Using a blending tool and Lucky Clover distress ink, colour the whole piece. Add in the centre of slightly larger black cardstock, then adhere to a slightly larger blank. Print off the digital images onto white cardstock and colour. Cut out the images, leaving a narrow white border. Fix the checkered border across the centre of the card front with some double-sided tape. Adhere the sign into place with 3D foam pads, then add the other three
images with double-sided tape.
Birthday Poodle
Cut a panel of white cardstock, 10cm x 14cm. Apply Festive Berries distress ink onto a similar sized piece of acetate and spritz with water. Take the ink directly to the cardstock and smoosh until happy with the effect. Leave to dry or dry off with a heat tool. Spritz the inked background with some water, then dab off the excess with a clean paper towel. Matt onto black cardstock, then onto a blank. Print off the image and sentiment onto white cardstock, colouring in the poodle with markers. Trim the sentiment into two separate words and add to the top-left corner with double-sided tape. Cut out the poodle, leaving a narrow white border, and add to the bottom-right corner with 3D foam pads. Add some gems to embellish.
A Record Birthday
Create a background by cutting and pasting the digital image repeatedly on a computer, then print onto white cardstock. Cut the background down to 12.5cm square. Apply some Evergreen Bough distress ink to a piece of acetate, spritz with water and smoosh onto the background until the desired effect is achieved. Leave to dry or dry off with a heat tool. Add the background panel to the centre of a slightly larger piece of black cardstock, then add to a blank. Print off a sentiment and the image onto white cardstock, then colour the record with markers. Cut the record out, leaving a white border, then cut the sentiment into a rectangle. Adhere the record, then add the sentiment with 3D foam pads.
