If you weren’t feeling like spring was in full swing already, then this paper and vellum bee bunting from Corinne Bradd is sure to put you in the mood for some sunny crafting. Made using a simple FREE template free from our website (you’re welcome) and basic materials, Corinne’s buzzing buddies are not only easy to put together, but they look fabulous too. The best bit? You can make them your own with a choice of colour and distinctive gel pen flourishes.

You will need:
Templates
Cardstock, various colours
Vellum, various colours
Gel pens: Sakura Gelly Roll Opaque, Metallic
Baker’s twine
Hole punch, small
Adhesives: low-tack tape, glue
1. Trace our bee body template onto the reverse of black cardstock with an opaque white gel pen. Cut out the internal stripes with a craft knife before trimming the main shape. Layer the body onto bright coloured card. Use opaque and metallic gel pens to embellish the body of the bee.
2. Whilst the pen work is drying, snip wing shapes from coloured vellum. Lightly tape the wings onto the veining template and trace over the lines with an opaque white gel pen. Add extra lines and an outline with a metallic gel pen, then leave to dry. Adhere the wings to the bodies. Punch two small holes on either side of the bee’s head, then thread baker’s twine through to hang.
