This handy little make will really pep up your pressies and is super simple to recreate with a Cricut Explore.
The Cricut Explore is a great design and cut machine that produces crisp shapes and creases that are great for a wealth of amazing projects. The sleek piece of kit is combined with an easy-to-use online design space that lets users create an array of items from home décor for interior design fashion designs, party decorations or cards and gifts.
Cricut Explore is available from Create & Craft, selected Hobbycraft stores, Amazon.co.uk and other well-known craft retailers and etailers at £249.99 including VAT.
• Connect the Cricut Explore™ to your computer, log on to your Design Space™ account and select ‘create new project’. Click on ‘insert image’ and search for ‘Christmas tree’. Select a tree: sample used image M39E19 . Then search for ‘tag’: sample used image M45699. Insert the images on to the blank canvas.
• Ungroup the tag layers and resize them individually. Hide the top doily and star layers of the tree. Resize the tree to fit the tag.
• Cut out the tag layers from white cardstock (bottom layer) and decorative paper (top tag). Tie them together using twine.
• Cut the tree bottom layer in turquoise cardstock and the top layer in white cardstock. Gently crease each layer down the centre and glue them together along the crease line. Glue the layered tree to the top tag.
