This cute Easter card is just what you need to start the seasonal celebrations. The pop-up bunny is sure to be a favourite among kids and adults alike and adds a fun surprise element to the greeting. Use Easter-themed papers for maximum impact – you can download free designs here. And what should you put with an Easter card? Eggy treats of course! • Create an 11cm square blue blank. Cover the inside with a 10cm x 20cm rectangle of egg patterned paper. Stick contrasting border strips to the top and bottom.
• Flip the card over and draw two central 2.5cm parallel lines 2cm either side of the folded edge. Cut these lines with a craft knife and fold to create the pop-up element.
• Cut a 7.5cm circle from green card. Fold it in half and draw two central 2.5cm parallel lines 2cm either side of the folded edge. Cut these lines and fold to match the other pop-up element. Glue in place on the inside of the card.
• Draw or print out a bunny image and stick to the front of the pop-up section. Choose a sentiment, cut into a banner shape and stick to the bottom right of the card.
