YOU WILL NEED

1 Download the star template and attach to a piece of card using tape.
2 With a craft knife, cut the white areas, taking extra care with the smaller intricate areas. Repeat steps one and two so that you end up with two identical decorations.
3 Next, cut a slit in each decoration. On the first decoration, snip from the top down to the centre and on the second, cut from the bottom up to the centre.
4 Slot one decoration in the other at a 90˚ angle so that they are locked together.
5 Pierce a small hole in the top of your decoration with a needle or a pair of scissors.
6 Thread a length of thread through the hole and tie securely.
