The Cricut Explore is a new design and cut machine that is perfect for producing professional-looking projects like this delicate bauble! Cricut Explore is available from Create & Craft, selected Hobbycraft stores, Amazon.co.uk and other well-known craft retailers and etailers at £249.99 including VAT.
• Connect the Cricut Explore™ to your computer, log on to your Design Space™ account and select ‘create new project’. Click on ‘insert image’ and search for ‘Christmas ornament’. Select a doily bauble: sample used image M3DF71. Then search for ‘score line’; this is a free image in Design Space™. Insert the images on to the blank canvas.
• Hide or delete the bottom two layers of the bauble image. Resize the bauble image: sample was height 4".
• Drag the score line to fit the down the centre of the bauble, create a drag box over the entire image and click ‘attach’. Copy then paste the image three times.
• Score and cut the baubles from card. Fold each bauble along the score line and glue them together to form a circular group. Tie string into a loop at the top of the bauble and hang it up.
