Layered Christmas Greeting

Card making Christmas cards Christmas crafts Die cutting How to Papercraft Techniques Projects

Christmas just makes us feel warm. Which is funny, because it’s almost always cold and wet (we suppose you could say the same about Britain, too) but there isn’t a time of year that feels cosier to us. Festive crafting is always so special because it manages to nail that distinctive fuzzy feeling and this glorious card is the proof in the figgy pudding. Soft pastel colours, striking reds, adorable motifs and glitzy embellishments – the 25th came early with this one!

Layered Christmas Greeting

YOU WILL NEED:
Patterned papers, Crate Paper Hey, Santa 12” x 12”
Embellishments: Crate Paper Hey, Santa Printed Vellum, Puffy Stickers, Charms, Puffy Frames, Ephemera, Tassels; gold glitter, gold gems, baker’s twine
Adhesives: 3D foam pads, glue

METHOD:
1 Trim a strip of red patterned paper to 4cm x 14cm, then secure down the front of a 10.5cm x 15cm blank layered with snowflake paper. Cut out a sentiment topper and adhere onto pink patterned paper, 7.5cm x 10.5cm. Fix towards the top of the greeting with 3D foam pads.

2 Thread a tassel around a snowflake paper clip, fix onto the left-hand side of the card, then add a chipboard sticker in the centre. Add a bow topper to the bottom. Embellish the card front with gold gems to complete.
