Christmas sentiments from stash (For The Love Of Stamps Christmas inserts collection)
Distress Inks, Mermaid Lagoon, Chipped Sapphire, Evergreen Bough and Festive Berries
Pens, alcohol markers, white gel
Ink, Hero Arts Intense Black
Tool, blending, spritzer
TOP TIP: each digi stamp needs to be printed out onto alcohol-marker friendly card
Merry And Bright
Colour the front of a blank, 10.5cm x 18cm, with Mermaid Lagoon Distress Ink and a blending tool. Spritz the background with water and dab off the excess. Print the Santa, snowman and Rudolph digi stamps off onto white card, then colour in using the markers. Cut out the three separate images, then adhere to the card front using 3D foam pads. Stamp the sentiment in black ink onto white card, cut to size, then add to the bottom of the greeting with double sided tape.
It’s Beginning to Look A Lot Like Christmas
Create a blank, 13cm x 15cm, then colour using Festive Berries distress ink and a blending tool. Spritz the background with water and dab off the excess. Print off the Rudolph digi stamp onto white card, then colour in using markers. Add snow to the sky with a white gel pen. Cut the image to size, then add to card front with 3D foam pads. Stamp the sentiment onto white card with black ink, trim and add to the greeting.
Magic Of The Season
Cut card to 10.5cm x 15cm, then cover the front panel with Chipped Sapphire distress ink using a blending tool. Spritz the inked area with water and dab off the excess. Print out the two snowman digi stamps images onto white card, then colour using alcohol markers. Cut out the two images, then arrange on the card front with 3D foam pads. Stamp the sentiment in black ink onto white, cut down to a small rectangle, then add to the greeting.
Merry Christmas
Snip card to to 11.5cm x 16cm to create a blank. Ink around the edges with Festive Berries distress ink using a blending tool. Print off the snowflake and penguin digi stamps onto white card, then cut down so it is slightly smaller than the card front. Colour the images with alcohol markers, then adhere the panel onto the greeting with double sided tape. Stamp the sentiment onto white card, trim, then add to the top right corner with 3D foam pads.
Merry Little Christmas
Create a card blank measuring 10cm x 13cm, then colour the card front using Chipped Sapphire distress ink and a blending tool. Spritz the inked area with some water, then dab off the excess. Print off the Santa image onto white cad, then cut slightly smaller than the blank. Colour the image using alcohol markers, cut out, then adhere onto the card front with 3D foam pads. Stamp the sentiment onto white card, cut, then add to the greeting with 3D foam pads and tape.
Christmas Cheer
Create a blank, 9.5cm x 15cm, then apply Evergreen Bough distress ink with a blending tool. Spritz the card front with water and dab off the excess. Print the overflowing pot image onto white card, trim then attach to the centre of the blank. Stamp the sentiment onto the label with black ink. Colour using alcohol markers, ink around the edges with Mermaid Lagoon distress ink, then adhere to the centre of the card front with foam pads.
Merry Christ-Mouse
Create a blank, 15cm x 15cm, then ink the front using a blending tool and the apply Evergreen Bough distress ink to it with a blending tool. Spritz the inked area with water, then dab off the excess. Print off the image and sentiment onto white card. Colour with alcohol markers and trim. Add the image to the card front with 3D foam pads at an angle. Cut out the sentiment and add to the card front at the opposite angle with 3D foam pads.
