Card making Papercraft Papercrafter
Earn your cap and gown in cardmaking with this celebratory greeting
You Will Need:
Templates or SVG files
Digital cutting machine (optional)
Cardstock, various colours
Cotton, blue
Adhesives: glue, foam tape
Graduation Card
1. Download, print and cut out all the templates from our website. Alternatively, download the SVG files and upload onto your digital cutting machine.
2. Trim the top of the hat from pale aqua card, the rims and head piece trims from mid aqua, and the head piece in dark aqua.
3. Stick the head piece trims to the head piece, then assemble by sticking onto a scrap of white card.
4. Trim away any excess card and attach the top of the hat to the head piece with foam tape.
5. To make a tassel, wrap cotton around your finger five times, thread a 20cm length through the loops and tie. Divide the long strands into three, plait and fasten. Tie a single strand of cotton around the top of the loops, wrap and tie. Trim the bottom of the loops and separate the strands.
6. Punch a tiny hole in the centre of the hat, thread through the end of the tassel, then secure to the back with tape.
7. Trim the sentiment in three shades of aqua and fix to a 5.5cm x 13.5cm piece of white card.
8. Cut out three various sized stars, one each in pale, mid and dark aqua card.
9. Adhere the ‘Congrats’ panel to the base of a 10.5cm x 14.5cm white blank. Secure the hat and embellish with the stars and gems.
