Flamingos have this ‘life’ thing figured out. Drowned in the most glorious of pink, tanning in the sun, looking fab with a capital F – it’s no shock they make spectacular centrepieces, as proved by this greeting. Add in masterful colour blending, an inspired use of highlights, a puntastic choice of sentiment, and you’ve got yourself what we like to call a ‘must-craft’.

Template from paper craftermagazine.co.uk
Ink pads: dark pink, black
Powders, Cosmic Shimmer Pixie
Print the template from our website onto pink card, then cut out. Create a side-folding blue blank. Make a background with Pixie Powders on white card. Trim to fit the card. Blend dark pink ink around the edges of the bird and apply highlights in white pen. Draw in the eyes and a beak.
Fix the flamingo to the card front and draw black legs. Create a wing and attach with 3D foam pads. Cut flowers from patterned paper and fix with 3D foam pads.
Draw, cut and attach a crown to the head, then use a white pen to add extra details. Print a sentiment onto white, mount onto blue and fix to the front.
