Marianne Fisher crafts with Pink Gem’s adorable penguin digi stamps and shows you how to achieve cheerful Christmas greetings. With their fluffy feathered bellies and warm friendly faces, these adorable penguins will certainly add an extra touch of cuteness to your winter projects.
YOU WILL NEED:
Craft essentials, Card Topper Digi Kits: Pink Gem Penguin Post Box, Penguin Holly Baubles, Penguins with Snowman, Paper collection, First Edition Merry Little Christmas, Dies: Memory Box Stitched Snowflake; Crafter’s Companion Die’sire Icicles; My Favorite Things Fished, Stitched Square; Joanna Sheen Pillar Box; JoyCraft Vintage Flourish Holly Leaves, Stampendous fun flock, Crafter’s Companion Spray and Sparkle, Glitter Glue, White pearls
1 Download sheets one and two of the Penguins and Snowman digi kit. Resize sheet one so that the image is 9.5cm square. Cut out the main image and attach the ‘Happy Christmas’ sentiment to the top. Trim the decoupage pieces and layer using 3D glue. Set aside to harden.
2 Trim and fold white card to form a 12.5cm x 17.5cm card blank. Cut 10.5cm x 11.5cm of purple snowflake paper and 6cm x 11.5cm of diamond paper.
3 Attach the purple paper to the top of a 12cm x 16.5cm panel of red card, leaving a small border, then stick the diamond paper at the bottom. Cut 3.8cm x 5cm of red holly paper and attach over the join.
4 Die cut icicles and a set of stitched snowflakes from white card. Layer the snowflakes, saving the stars from the snowflake off-cuts. Trim the icicle die-cut to the width of the red card and adhere towards the bottom of the greeting.
5 Attach the decoupaged image so that the bottom of it is adjacent to the icicle die-cut. Fix the snowflakes and star at the top, then add white pearls to the centre of the snowflakes. Cover the hat trims and bobbles with fun flock.
