Cross-Stitch Unicorn Card

YOU WILL NEED:
Dies: My Favorite Things Die-Namics Cross-stitch Rectangle
Stamps: My Favorite Things Fairy-Tale Friends
Embroidery thread: green, red, yellow, blue
Ink pad, black
Tool, fabric tracing wheel
Marker pens
Sequins, gold stars
Adhesives: 3D foam pads, glitter glue
Die-cutting machine

METHOD:
1. Make an 11cm x 14cm yellow blank. Die cut a cross-stitch rectangle from white card. Draw the curves of a rainbow in pencil, then cross-stitch over the top using red, yellow, green and blue embroidery thread. Add backstitching with black embroidery thread.

2. Trim blue card to 10.5cm x 13.5cm, then die cut a rectangle through it to create a frame. Use a fabric tracing wheel around the edges. Adhere the cross-stitched panel behind the aperture, then fix to the card front.

3. Stamp a unicorn onto white card and colour in. Apply glitter glue to the wings and horn. Stamp a sentiment onto white, apply a blue marker pen to the edges, then fix near the top of the greeting with 3D foam pads. Secure the unicorn with 3D foam pads, then embellish with gold star sequins.
