• Take a sheet of A4 paper and fold 3cm along one long edge and unfold. Crease vertically at 11cm, 14cm, 25cm and 28cm. This will make the bag shape plus extra for fixing.
• Cut the centre from a heart doily. Fold the outer edge in half and tracearound this onto folded scrap card. Use this outline as a template to create a background for the heart border from dark blue patterned paper.
• Fix the doily border in place on the background and position the whole thing on what will be the front panel of your bag. Run around the inside of the heart with a craft knife to make an aperture.
• Fix a panel of acetate to the reverse of the aperture with double-sided tape. Assemble the bag by sticking the short edges together, clipping the folds at the base, folding in and securing with double-sided tape to make a flat bottom.
• Concertina crease the gussets towards the upper edge of the bag so the top edge can be folded over and secured with twine tied though two punched holes once the bag is filled.
• Tie a small bunch of dried lavender with twine. Decorate with a heart cut from patterned paper. Punch a hole in the top of it so that the loop of twine can be passed through. Fix the heart to the side of the bag front with foam pads on either side of the lavender sprigs.
• Cut a 10cm wide strip of pale patterned paper and mark the centre lightly.
• Glue a heart doily onto dark patterned paper and cut around to leave a border.Glue this to the centre of the paper strip.
• Fix the strip around the loofah with tape at the back. Add a heart and lavender embellishment.
• Measure the height of the tin base excluding the screw thread and cut a strip of patterned paper this wide, long enough to wrap around the circumference. Glue in place with dilute PVA.
• Cut a circle slightly smaller than the diameter of the tin lid. Cut out around aperture if necessary and paste to the top. Decorate with lavender and a heart motif as before.
• Cut a 4cm wide strip of patterned paper and fix onto a glass bottle by pasting the back with dilute PVA and wrapping tightly around it.
• Add a single cut-out heart to the centre of the bottle front.
• Tie twine around the neck of the bottle, adding lavender sprigs and a heart as before.
