Good quality papers go a long way to kicking your crafting up a notch; great papers can launch it into the ink-splattered stratosphere. Find a comfy seat, procure a cup of tea, and get ready to indulge in some vibrant cardmaking of the highest order – then get straight to work once you’re all out of biscuits.
YOU WILL NEED:
Patterned papers: Vicki Boutin Wild Flower & Honey 12” x 12”, Vicki Boutin Art 6” x 8”

Ink pads: Vicki Boutin Metallic Ink Wheel; yellow, orange, pink, teal
Fineliner, black
Gems, gold
METHOD:
1 Trim white card 14cm x 28cm then score down the long side at 7cm and 21cm. Mark 7cm up from the bottom left and right corners then draw a line across.
2 Trim away the top-left and bottom-right pieces above the drawn line then valley fold the sides. Score across the central panel, 7cm down from the top the valley fold. Cover the front and inside panels with dark paper.
3 Trim circular paper 13cm x 13cm then adhere inside. Trim two pieces of teal patterned paper 6cm x 6cm then add flower stickers in opposite corners, trimming to fit. Adhere to the side panels.
4 Trim red patterned paper 6cm x 13cm then adhere to the top panel. Attach a decorative circle as shown to the top panel then add a vellum butterfly on top.
5 Attach a circular sentiment in the top-left corner and a border sticker in the bottom-right corner, trimming to fit. Add heart stickers then finish with gold adhesive gems.
