Decoupage Die cutting Home decor How to Papercraft Papercrafter Techniques Die cutting Projects
Go 3D with the house die set and Parisian-themed decoupage pack from docrafts, and feel as if you have just stepped onto the streets of Paris!
YOU WILL NEED: Craft essentials, docrafts Deco Design, range: Xcut house die set, Parisian decoupage pack,
METHOD:
1 Create a die-cut house from thick pink card, then crease along each perforated line. Flatten, then use washi tape to position a door and window dies on one face. Run through a die-cutting machine, then repeat with windows on two more walls.
2 Use the same dies, plus the larger co-ordinating window dies, on light pink card. Remove the apertures, then glue the window frames and door onto the base. Die cut three window-boxes from lilac card, flowers from blue and leaves from green, then arrange under the top windows.
3 Assemble the house, then glue a 7cm square of thick card to the bottom as a base. Shape the roof, then fold a 7.5cm x 10.5cm rectangle of grey card in half and stick it to the top so it overlaps slightly on all edges.
4 Use the dormer window and chimney stack dies to cut from pale pink card, then assemble and stick in place. Die cut a window frame from the darker pink, plus two small heart shapes. Stick one heart above the window and one onto the door. Create a roof for the window by folding a 2cm x 3.5cm piece of grey card in half.
