Earn your stripes
You wouldn’t believe how easy these cards are to make and the good news is that this striking yet simple technique cleverly uses up the scraps from your stash. Think twice before throwing away any cardstock offcuts because they’re the star of the show here. Before adhering down each strip, build them up on scrap paper first to make sure you’re happy with the arrangement. Why not vary the width of the strips or mix up the colour combos to suit?

Sweet tooth
To accompany the pastel-coloured cardstock strips, Mama Elephant’s Milkshake and Donut Treats stamps were a no-brainer! Coloured in with coordinating creamy tones, they make for an all-round mouth-watering assortment of greetings. For added texture, I’ve used a geometric embossing folder and for attention-grabbing sentiments, I actually cut one of my striped panels using a scripty font die. There are plenty of ways to play around with these cards and you can make them as simple or as complex as you wish.
