Blended backgrounds
Mixed media maestro Laura has chosen to pair these wedding digi stamps with distress inks and we’re in awe of the results! You’ll be glad to know that the technique is tremendously easy to achieve. There are two simple ways to work with distress inks – apply directly onto the card, then blend. Alternatively, try the ink smooshing method by dropping your chosen colour onto a glass mat, spritzing with water, then applying to your cardstock face-down.

Colour clever
Colouring in your motifs is the moment your digi stamps really come to life. Laura has used alcohol markers to fill in her designs, but you can really experiment with just about any colouring medium. Remember to print your stamps onto the correct kind of cardstock to suit the ink type and perform a test before you get started.

Finishing touches
What’s a celebratory greeting without a hint of glitz here and there? We simply couldn’t imagine! Don’t you just adore Laura’s subtle iridescent accents? A few simple sequins or silver gems will do the trick. Or, why not incorporate glitter card for added texture? Talking of texture, if you fancy taking the tactile nature of your makes to the next level, then opt for small accents of lace or cheesecloth to tie in with the wedding theme. Voila!
