Sending Cheerful Thoughts
Open the digital stamps in a software of your choice, such as Procreate and colour in the images digitally using a watercolour brush and add splatters on top. Use watercolours or water-based markers with water if you prefer colouring in your images traditionally. Print out the image and trim around the frame and tulips. Place a dotty stencil on top and use the Kuretake ZIG 2-way glue pen to trace some of the circles. Once dry, press gold foil on top, burnish and peel off. Distress the edges of the panel using scissors and adhere onto a 10.5cm x 15cm white blank. Print and cut out a sentiment, then secure to the card front to finish.
One Day
Download the digi stamps and open in a programme such as Procreate to colour in the images digitally using a watercolour brush. Add splatters on top. Alternatively, use watercolours or water-based markers with water if you prefer colouring in your images traditionally. Print out the image and cut around the frame and snowbells. Place a dotty stencil on top of the image and use a sponge dauber with pink ink to stencil random areas of circles. Add a few dots around the snowbells and apply some shading to the stems and flowers using the Kuretake ZIG 2-way glue pen. Leave to dry, then press gold foil on top. Burnish and peel away the foil. Distress the edges of the panel with scissors and layer onto a 10.5cm x 15cm white blank. Print and cut out a sentiment into a banner shape, then sponge and distress the edges with pink ink. Apply small accents of gold foil and fix to the card front.
Mum
Open the digital stamps in a software such as Procreate and colour in the images digitally using a watercolour brush. Add splatters on top. Alternatively, use watercolours or water-based markers with water to colour in your motifs manually. Print out the image, then trim around the frame and daffodils. Draw the letters and a heart to spell out ‘Mum’ from gold mirri card. Cut out with a craft knife. Distress the edges of the sentiment with scissors and fix to the digi stamp panel. Layer onto gold mirri cardstock, then onto a 10.5cm x 15cm white blank. Tie a bow from black baker’s twine and secure to the flower bunch to complete.
Be Brave
Scale down a mix of floral digi stamps to roughly 5cm in height. Use a software of your choice, such as Procreate to colour in the images digitally using a watercolour brush. Add splatters on top. Alternatively, use watercolours or water-based markers with water to colour in your motifs manually. Print out the images and trim. Create a 10cm white blank and place a dotty stencil on top. Lightly stencil the circles in a random order, then secure three thin strips of gold mirri card to the centre. Adhere the digi stamp panel and arrange the extra flowers on top. Add an inked and distressed sentiment banner to the bottom and finish with a black baker’s twine bow.
The Right Words
Use a programme such as Procreate to colour in the digi stamps digitally using a watercolour brush. Colour over the original drawn border to disguise it and change the black linework to white. Add splatters on top. Print out the image and trim to 13cm square. Ink around the edges, distress them with scissors and use the Kuretake ZIG 2-way glue pen to trace around some of the flowers and re-draw the sketchy borders around the edges of the panel. Let it dry, press gold foil on top, then burnish and peel it off. Place a dotty stencil on top and randomly ink some of the circles in pink ink using a sponge dauber. Attach the panel onto a white blank. Print and cut out extra daffodils, colour them in and fix to the card front. Complete with a sentiment.
