Colour notes
Why not match the colour of your dog motifs to your recipient’s furry friend to make your card more bespoke? Kitty has used alcohol markers and has opted for neutral shades of grey, brown and tan to replicate the dogs’ markings and fur. If you’re after a quick fix, you can shade the designs in simply, applying the same amount of pressure throughout. After a more professional look? Try graduating the shade to create a blended effect.

Feeling inkspired?
You’ve coloured in your digi stamps and you want to find other ways to pack your cards with even more colour. Distress oxide ink pads are the answer. The key to keeping your trimming neat and smooth is by using a pair of detail scissors which are specifically designed for tricky and fiddly cuts. You also want to make sure that you don’t rush the process – slow and steady wins the race.
