3. CHARMING JARS
A simple theme that has proved very popular this year is the rustic 'barn and farm' look. It's so easy to put together yourself, using basic items you can find around the home. Old jars filled with hay (or brown coloured paper) and motifs attached to skewers or straws will add trendy charm to a table display.
4. LUXE LANTERNS
To create ambiance, the right kind of lighting is essential once the sun has set. Using plain lanterns and a selection of pretty patterned tissue paper, these lanterns are a dream to make. Pop a battery-operated light inside of each one and hang them around the garden to set the mood.
5. DIY MENUS

It will remind guests of how much effort you have put into the day and it is also a great (and cheap!) way of decorating the dinner table. With a fine felt pen and your best handwriting, a menu is an elegant addition to any summer party.
