We couldn’t showcase all of these journal’s inside pages, but you can see how some Katie Skilton and Colette Smith managed a few of theirs.

Five of our designers came up with innovative ideas for creating scrapbooks, photo albums and memory books in the prettiest forms. You can find Corinne Bradd’s bonus stab-bound book here!

Bazoo Book

First page: Take the pink picture-frame blank and trim off the spotty border and back of the card. Cover the page with the remaining card as pictured. Glue a butterfly and flower motif to the card, and a pink bow at the middle bottom as shown. Add a pearl below the bow to finish.

Left-hand page: On the reverse side of page 3, cover the bottom three quarters with pink spotty card. Snip a length of lilac scallop border; adhere to the top of the spotty card. Cover the join with a strip of ditsy floral paper. Adhere the photo to the page and embellish with branches and flowers from the back board, a flower button tied with cord and a sentiment.

Right-hand page: Cover a piece of the white card with peach card and the top with pink floral scallop card. Mount the photo onto pink spotty card, adhere to the page and embellish with three butterflies, pearls and a sentiment.

Wedding album

Left-hand page: Cover the page with green striped paper and adhere a few floral motifs from the backboard.

Right-hand page: Firstly, cover the page with the patterned lilac paper, pictured. Cut the zig-zag striped card 5cm in width and secure to the centre of the page. Cut some blue checked paper 5.5cm x 6.5cm and affix on top, as pictured. Secure a picture to the middle of the checked paper and glue the white lace to cover the edge. Glue lilac gems and floral motifs to the page to finish.

Left-hand page: Use green striped paper to cover the page. Mount your photo onto brown kraft card and ink the edges. Stick to the bottom left side of the page. Affix leaves from the backboard.

Right-hand page: Cover the page with green striped paper. Take a light pink card blank and cut out three small hearts and a rectangular strip 5cm x 12.5cm. Use a decorative border punch along one long side of the rectangle, and glue to the centre of the page as pictured. Cut a strip of lilac patterned paper 3.5cm x 14cm and position on top. Mount two photos onto brown kraft card and ink the edges. Secure these oppositely on the page.
