Summer has firmly arrived and we’re hoping it’s here to stay, for a little while at least! And with the countdown to Christmas still in the distance, it’s time top up our card stash and craft a host of makes for ourselves whilst we’re there.
To kickstart your summer sessions PaperCrafter has all you need — with a wealth of ideas and kit brimming with goodies
Issue 73 of PaperCrafter is on sale Friday 11th July! With our FREE subscription gift, starting a subscription is more tempting than ever, and there’s no risk of missing a copy either.
Be inspired
We hope you enjoy your copy of PaperCrafter — we think it’s one of our boldest issues yet, with a delectable kit filled with your favourite forest motifs, from cheeky foxes to cute badgers and secret squirrels. You’ll love applying these woodland critters to your projects and giving them a fun twist with you next paper make.
But it’s not just woodland! As always, we love to bring you a range of styles and paper accessories so you’re never restricted during your crafting journey. You’ll also find pretty flowers, mini retro flags, vintage-inspired stripy straws plus lots of other goodies including a BONUS MDF frame.
Your kit is packed with goodies to inspire you and complement your creations, and as always, our designers haven’t failed to impress either. We’ve explored a whole range of techniques and variety of projects so that whether you love card making or are keen to build your crafting repertoire, there will be plenty to inspire you.
We’ve got fantastic origami boxes, fabulous party essentials, stunning gift boxes and a floral wreath — just to name a few — PLUS lots of fantastic card making ideas so you can really impress — you’ll have to let us know what you try.
Ahead of the trend
We’ve made sure we don’t miss any of the trends either. The kit’s freebie woodland motifs and forest critters are just the thing to give your cards that on-trend edge in a really subtle style. Fans of the great British wildlife are sure to love it — but then who doesn’t like foxes, badgers and squirrels?
We’re also giving you the chance to practise and perfect your decoupage. With your MDF frame and decoupage sheets, we know you’ll create something beautiful.
On top of our projects, you’ll find lots more to inspire you in issue 73. Deputy editor Elaine speaks to crafting superstar Stephanie Weightman, whilst Ed Assistant Jennifer talks you through crafting the more complex 3D shapes.
