PaperCrafter Pin of the Week: Books & Weddings

I’m going to three weddings this year and the invitations have started landing on my doormat over the last couple of weeks. I love trying to guess the the theme of the special day from the style of the invites. Is it going to have a classy, traditional feel or something a little more vintage or unusual? I’ve noticed a trend on Pinterest recently for wedding decorations and invitations incorporating the written word. As an avid reader from a family of librarians, I’m loving this trend (as long as it doesn’t involve ripping up my favourite tomes!)

This pretty heart bunting (above) features pages from vintage French books and a lovely romantic heart design, whilst the below invitation reminds me of the summer jobs I had in my sleepy local library as a teenager - I always loved using those big date stamps!

Finally, why not do away with a tablecloth and cover your wedding tables with book pages. At least the guests will have something to occupy themselves with if the speeches get a little long!
