Pumpkin carving can be a messy affair. It’s time consuming and difficult, but a must at Halloween. Unless… you make paper pumpkins instead! Use your papercrafting skills to whip up some beauties that won’t inconveniently rot on your doorstep. We’ve found a range of different styles, all waiting for you to make them. Why not get the kids involved and have a family crafting session?
1. Crinkle-kins

2. Party pouches
Fill these paper pouches full of tricks and treats and hand them out to your party guests. All you need is crepe paper and tape - learn how here.
3. Strip pumpkins

4. Bookish beauty
Using book pages in your crafting is really popular right now - and a great way to recycle old books that are looking worse for wear. This easy tutorial explains all.
5. Plump-kins
To make these lovely round pumpkins, simply fold circles in half and then stick one half to the half of another and continue until you've made a circle!
6. Pumpkin boxes
Aren't these cute? Pop gifts or party favours into these little boxes on Halloween for guaranteed smiles (because not everyone enjoys a fright).
7. Feeling blue
Not got a lot of orange in your craft stash? There's no need to spend money on new materials - this alternative blue colourway works just as well. Follow the step-by-step guide here.
8. Honeycomb fun
