Save the date – Festive Friday falls on 1st December this year so get your handcrafted Christmas cards at the ready to post to your loved ones! An initiative set up by the Greeting Card Association (GCA), Festive Friday is a great way to embrace the celebrations and join thousands in sending Christmas post. “We encourage everyone in the crafting community to get involved and help us to launch the first wave of beautiful Christmas cards sent across the country”, explains Sharon Little, CEO of the GCA. “The first Friday in December is a special day for all papercrafters, card designers and lovers of greeting cards.” To get you started, we have handpicked our top seven festive makes to craft. Don’t forget to share your cards with us on our Facebook and Twitter pages before you send them using the hashtag #FestiveFriday.
