We all need a little space to call our own and, for us crafters, it’s a dream to have an inspirational spot where we can sit and create. For many of us though, we’re all too often left crafting on the sofa, trying to fish sequins out from behind the cushions. But these beautiful craft rooms show how amazing a special work spot can be, even if you’re pushed for space!
1. Pretty in blue
This light and airy room is ideal for crafting, and the storage might be enough even to hold our stashes!
2. Up the wall
If you don't have a lot of space, make use of your walls and create vertical storage!
3. Natural look
This craft room has a warm, cosy feel. The cubes are ideal for storage - find ones like them at Ikea.
4. A place for everything
This place is spotless! Clever storage helps to hold all your crafty goodies out of sight.
5. Get inspired
Wherever you're creating, it should be inspiring. Try adding fun messages like these to your walls!
6. Light & bright
If possible, make sure your craft space has a source of natural light. Reflect it with white walls and floors for a bright area.
7. Mood board heaven
Nothing inspires creativity quite like a mood board, so why not cover your walls like this designer has?
8. Ruby red
Treat your eyes to something beautiful by using a cohesive colour scheme like this red beauty of a room.
9. Full to the brim
When you've got a lot of crafty stuff, you need a lot of storage. Space under your craft table is ideal!
10. Colour choices
Inspire yourself by placing colour palettes on the wall. The cat is optional (but recommended).
11. The spice of craft
Got an old spice rack? Upcycle it into clever craft storage for your tubs, bottles and jars.
12. Keep it simple
Sometimes surrounding yourself with too much colour can be overwhelming - so why not keep it clean and classic?
13. Who needs cupboards?
Turn a cupboard or wardrobe into a secret craft station! When you're finished, just pack away and close the doors.
14. Modern affair
For a contemporary look, mix plains and patterns, then add a touch of gold to finish.
15. One wall only
You don't need a whole room - just part of one! Smart storage really makes all the difference.
